About the Signature Comfort Plus Profiling Bed

Designed and styled for care in the home, the Signature Comfort Plus is an all-encompassing profiling bed with a range of features to make life easier for the user and carers. The bed lowers close to the floor to help access and swinging legs onto the bed, and raises up to a carer's waist height for providing nursing and support on the bed. Three-part split side rails can be raised and lowered independently to help prevent falls, provide a grab handle when getting in and out, and act as a handy place to hook the handset control.

        Ease Getting In and Out

        The perfect solution for users who have difficulty getting in and out of bed because of restricted mobility or limited upper body strength. The bed can be set at a perfect height for access and the side rails can be used as grab handles for support.

        Nursing Height

        The bed can raised up to a nursing height of 73.5cm, the equivalent of a carer's waist level. This allows carer's to administer care on the bed comfortably and reduces the risk of back strain.

        Multi-Purpose Side Rails

        The side rails are made up of three adjsutable rails on each side of the bed giving excellent flexibility and functionality. They can be all raised to prevent falls, all lowered for unimpaired access, or part raised to act as grab handles for support.

        Back and Leg Adjustment

        The bed back rest can be raised to an upright seated position. The leg rest can be elevated at the knees for comfort and also the feet can be raised to help improve circulation and reduce leg swelling.

        Easy to Operate

        The Signature Comfort Plus is fully electrically adjustable with all adjustments operated by an easy-to-use wired handset control. The control has large easy-to-understand buttons and the handset hooks on to the side of the bed when not in use.

        Homely and Customisable

        Despite the bed's advanced clinical functionality, it has been thoughtfully styled for the home environment. You can make it your own too with size, headboard, material and wood finish options.

        Strong Durable Construction

        The steel frame construction of Opera high-low beds ensure longevity and can accommodate robust use. The bed has a safe working load of more than 30st and a bariatric version is also available for heavier users.

        Lockable Castors

        The bed can be easily repositioned in the room thanks to four castors. When the bed is in the desired position, all four castors can be locked off to ensure the bed is secured and doesn't move.
